Help our MD Fiona Mcloughlin to raise funds for homeless people
Focus Ireland is a fantastic charity working with homeless people in Ireland. I have worked for many years with sellers who love their homes even as they are about to sell. I havea worked with buyers eagerly searching for the right property, at the right price and more importantly, a place they can call home . Perhaps it is because of my work that I have always admired and supported charities that help our homeless people. And so, I’ve signed up to participate in Focus Ireland’s four peaks challenge only last Friday.
I had my first session with personal trainer on Monday, sore as hell on Tuesday( he’s ex army!) One of my new year’s resolutions was to give some time and energy to a charity for the homeless. Hadn’t quite planned the 4 mountains aspect though! What was I thinking?
The challenge starts on Friday, June 11th – just over 4 weeks time! Again what am I thinking?
So, I need to get together at least €1,500 in the next four weeks! All donations no matter how small are appreciated. Help me, help Focus Ireland, help our homeless.

Its Tuesday
morning as I roll to a stop in the carpark at Hotel Keadeen in Newbridge. The government
is hours away from breaking its NAMA news and winter has returned in summer to
give us a cold snowy reminder of things past and bad things to come.
I arrive a
little early, ahead of my latest interviewee and assemble my thoughts. A few
minutes later FionaMcLoughlin joins me.
I think its ironic that on the very day the Government remodels our island to
make it a ‘Titanic’, that I’m interviewing a hugely successful business woman
who operates in the property market (and property, as we all know is our
Titanic’s iceberg).
