The Cooley Penninsula is little known thus totally unspoiled with magnificent views of mountains, sea, and valleys.
County Louth is between Belfast and Dublin with the Cooley Penninsula to the north and Drogheda and the Boyne Valley to the south. Louth has a number of important monuments and seaside resorts, the perfect place to holiday.
Medieval Carlingford has a lot to see, including the views of 14th Century Johns Castle, Dominican Abbey, The Mint, has interesting pubs and lovely restaurants and holds the tidy town award.
